Our commitment to being plastic free goes beyond just reducing the usage of plastic carrier bags or plastic bags at the fresh area but also working closely with suppliers to come up with innovative ways on how we can reduce the usage of plastics packaging in our products. We have made progress with some of our suppliers to utilize more paper based materials in their packaging, instead of using plastics. We are also trialing the usage of different fibre based materials to package our meat products. 

In terms of facilities, we are introducing a sustainable shelving unit to store our vegetables which keeps our vegetables fresh while not needing to use plastic packaging. It is also sustainable in the energy and water saving aspects.
