In a continuous effort for its stores to be plastic free by 2023, The Food Purveyor’s Village Grocer and Ben’s Independent Grocer bakery sections will be progressively reducing the usage of plastics to pack its baked goods. Ongoing trials are being explored to find the best solution in preserving the freshness of the pastry while being environmentally sustainable.

Customers are also encouraged to bring their own containers to the bakery to purchase the delicious pastries and other baked goods. Together we can positively impact the environment by reducing the usage of plastic that will otherwise get into mother nature.
